Job Responsibilities

Accurate scheduling, registration, verifying of patient identification and demographics.

Accurate verification of patient financial information and monetary collection either in-person or over the phone, including, but not limited to:

o Preauthorization

o Insurance eligibility

All phone calls will be answered or voice mails returned in a timely manner. Communicate and answer questions with staff and patients efficiently and professionally either in-person, over the phone or electronically.

Ensure patient record maintenance is accurate and complete through various processes.

Ensure patient referral documentation and communication with outside facilities is properly completed and conveyed to the patient. Follow up as necessary.

Support the organization as needed

Job Requirements

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Ability to self-start, work independently and work as part of a team.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.

Education/ Experience

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Previous customer service experience preferred.
Proficient use of computer applications including keyboarding skills.
